Marian Bauman-O’Dell is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Massage Therapist. Marian brings over 25 years experience in mental health and four years in energy body work and is the founder of Heart Song Counseling & Healing. She is a graduate of Nazareth College and Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage.
Marian has been interested in the healing arts for most of her life. She specializes in Gestalt Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique. Her body work includes Energy Assessments, Reconnective Healing and Massage Therapy focusing on Swedish relaxation massage, Deep Tissue massage, Trigger Point Therapy, Medical and Pregnancy massage.
Marian is also a NYS Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor and a Department of Motor Vehicles approved DWI Screening and Assessment Provider.
For the past 10 years, Marian has been an adjunct instructor at MCC in the Human Services Department teaching addiction counseling courses.
Using non-traditional approaches, Marian brings an empathic and healing commitment to her work in service to others. She will work with you during whatever life situations you are struggling with including, relationship loss, career and work transitions, addictions, step-family adjustment, phobias, anxiety, and healing from abuse and trauma.
Marian is a member of the New York Mental Health Counselors Association and Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
